These terms govern your use of Crowdcut, a tool for finding, editing, and publishing short‑form clips from livestream content.
Crowdcut (“Crowdcut,” “we,” “us”) is operated by an independent developer based in Texas, United States. By connecting an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Crowdcut detects candidate moments from stream sources you configure, cuts and formats vertical clips, generates draft captions and titles, and — when you connect a supported account — uploads finished clips to that account’s drafts for your manual review and posting. It is a workflow tool; you remain the publisher of anything that goes live.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract to use Crowdcut.
You are responsible for the platform accounts, API keys, and access tokens you connect, and for keeping them secure. You authorize Crowdcut to act on connected accounts solely to perform the actions you initiate, such as uploading a clip to your drafts. You may revoke access at any time.
You are solely responsible for the content you clip, edit, and publish, and for having the rights to use it. Crowdcut does not grant you any rights to third‑party streams, footage, music, or trademarks. Before publishing a clip, ensure you have the necessary rights or permissions, comply with the source platform’s terms, and include any required attribution or paid‑ partnership disclosures.
You retain ownership of clips you create with the app. You grant Crowdcut only the limited, technical permissions needed to process and upload them at your direction.
You agree not to use Crowdcut to:
Crowdcut integrates with third‑party services, each governed by its own terms and policies. Your use of those platforms through Crowdcut is also subject to their rules, and they may change or restrict access to their APIs at any time. We are not responsible for third‑party services or their actions.
Crowdcut is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of automated captions or detection, and uninterrupted or error‑free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crowdcut and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or content, arising from your use of the app — including account actions, takedowns, or platform penalties resulting from content you choose to publish.
You may stop using Crowdcut and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the app, in whole or in part, at any time.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above; continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules.
