Crowdcut / Changelog
What's new
A dated list of what changed in Crowdcut that you'd notice: new plans and prices, live clipping, how moments are picked, captions, the review studio and the free demo. Newest first.

Changes
- Clips are kept 45 days. Finished clips are kept for 45 days after their last render or edit, then the video is removed to save space; the clip's title, hook, stats and post links stay. Clips in their last 7 days are marked in the studio, so download anything you want to keep.
- Pause instead of cancel. Owners can pause billing for 30 days from Settings, Billing; the workspace picks up again on its own.
- Creator plan. $79 a month: 100 clips and one watched live channel, between Clipper and Starter.
- Poster frames. Every clip card and player shows a frame of the clip instead of a black box.
- Review shortcuts. Approve, Reject and Next stay pinned in the clip view (bottom of the screen on phones); J moves to the next clip.
- Demo clips come with you. Sign up from a free demo with the same email and its two clips are waiting in your review queue.
- Try another look. One free re-cut of your demo clips in a different style.
- Pricing page. Every plan, its clip limit and a comparison table at crowdcut.studio/pricing.
- Live clipping (beta). Twitch channels in a project are followed while live; clips arrive in review a minute or two after the moment.
- Chat drives the picks. Moments are ranked by how chat reacted: laughing, hype, shock and "clip it".
- Pacing from a reference. A reference clip now sets clip length and jump-cut rhythm, not just the look.
- Cleaner cuts. Clips open on the start of a sentence and end on real silence.
- Clipper plan. $29 a month for 40 clips, for clippers who paste links.
- Free demo for long streams. The free demo samples the liveliest 30 minutes of streams up to 12 hours.
- Swearing starred. Swear words are starred in captions and hooks (f***) and muted in the audio.
- Sentence captions. Captions group into phrases with the spoken word highlighted.
