Crowdcut / Clips that pay

Clips that pay, cut to the campaign's rules.

Creators and brands run clipping campaigns that pay per 1,000 views, many of them on Whop Content Rewards. You join a campaign, post clips that follow its rules to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels or X, submit the post link, and get paid for the views on posts the campaign approves. Earnings aren't guaranteed: every campaign sets its own rate, minimum and cap, and reviews each post against its rules. Crowdcut does the cutting: it finds the moments, captions them, aims for the campaign's length and puts its required tags in the caption.

How paid clipping works

  1. Join a campaign. On Whop (or the campaign's own page), pick a campaign and read its rules: which creator's videos you may clip, which platforms count, the length, and anything the caption must include.
  2. Cut and post clips. Post each clip from your own account on the platforms the campaign allows.
  3. Submit the post link. Paste the link in the campaign's submit form. Some campaigns also ask for the video file.
  4. Get reviewed, then paid. The campaign approves or rejects each post. Approved posts are paid by views, through Whop.

What a campaign pays

Each campaign sets a rate per 1,000 views (often somewhere around $0.50 to $3), a minimum a video has to earn before it's reviewed, and a maximum per video. Some add a flat fee per approved post. As arithmetic only: at $1.50 per 1,000 views, a post with 40,000 views would come to $60, if it's approved and the campaign's cap is higher. Most posts get far fewer views than that, and a post that breaks a rule earns nothing.

What Crowdcut does for it

  • Finds the moments in the creator's stream or video from chat spikes, loudness and the transcript.
  • Cuts to the rules. “Clip this campaign” in the studio starts a job with the campaign's length range, its required tags in every caption, and its rules passed to the moment picker and the hook writer.
  • Captions and hooks: word-by-word captions, three hook drafts per clip, and a warning when a hook repeats one you posted recently.
  • Keeps track: a submit checklist for each approved clip, its status (posted, submitted, approved, paid) and an estimate from the views you type in.

What it doesn't do

Crowdcut doesn't join campaigns for you, submit posts to Whop, or promise approval or views. It isn't affiliated with Whop. You still need the campaign's permission to clip its footage, and you review every clip before it goes anywhere.

Questions

Are earnings guaranteed?

No. You're paid only for posts a campaign approves, by the views they get, up to that campaign's cap. Many posts earn little or nothing.

Where do campaigns come from?

Mostly Whop Content Rewards, where creators and brands fund them. We list campaigns we've checked by hand; Crowdcut doesn't scrape Whop.

Does Crowdcut submit my clips?

No. You post from your own accounts and paste the post link in the campaign's submit form. Crowdcut gives you a checklist and remembers each clip's status.

Can I clip any creator for money?

Only creators whose campaign you joined, under that campaign's rules. Clipping someone else's footage without permission isn't covered.

Which Crowdcut plan do I need?

Any paid plan shows the campaign list and the “Clip this campaign” button. Clipper starts at $29/month.
