Crowdcut / Kick clips

Kick streams, clipped into vertical videos.

Paste a Kick VOD link and Crowdcut cuts the best moments into vertical clips with captions, ready for TikTok, Shorts and Reels.

Neon style on an IRL stream.

In short

Crowdcut clips Kick streams from the VOD: paste a Kick VOD link and it finds the strongest moments from the audio and the transcript, cuts them to vertical 9:16 with word-by-word captions and a hook, and queues them for your approval. Live clipping on Kick needs a recording on our side and is available on request.

How it works

  1. Paste a Kick VOD link

After the stream, paste the VOD. Live clipping on Kick is available on request.

  2. The moments get found

Sudden loud reactions and lines like "no way" are cut and ranked.

  3. Review, approve, post

Write or pick the hook, flip the caption style, and approve.

What you get

  • Vertical 1080×1920 clips, 8 to 90 seconds, each opening on the setup
  • Captions timed to each spoken word, with swearing starred in the text and muted in the audio
  • Styles that suit IRL and Just Chatting (Blur Spoken, Neon) and 13 more
  • Three hook drafts per clip, written from what was said
  • TikTok drafts on a connected account, or an export pack for Shorts and Reels

What works on Kick today

Kick VODs: paste the link from the channel's videos tab (kick.com/channel/videos/…). Long VODs are processed in 30-minute sections, so clips start arriving in review before the whole stream is done.

Live: Crowdcut's live clipping beta follows chat on Twitch. Kick live clipping works differently, because Kick has no clips endpoint: it needs the stream recorded on our side while it's live, so we switch it on per channel on request. If you stream on Kick and want it, say so when you sign up.

How the moments are picked

On a Kick VOD, Crowdcut listens rather than reads: sudden loud reactions, laughter and lines like "no way" or "bro" are found in the audio and the transcript, then ranked for a clear payoff. Each clip opens on the setup and runs 8 to 90 seconds, about 30 by default.

IRL and Just Chatting

IRL footage has no gameplay to stack under a facecam, so styles that fill the vertical frame suit it better: Blur Spoken keeps the whole shot with a blurred fill, and Neon puts bold glowing captions over it. Swearing is starred in captions and muted in the audio by default, so a clip from an unfiltered stream stays postable.

Approve, then post

Nothing posts by itself. Approve a clip and it goes to your TikTok drafts or downloads with its caption and tags for Shorts and Reels. Clipper ($29/month, 40 clips) covers pasting VODs; Creator ($79/month) adds a watched channel (Twitch live clipping; Kick live on request).

Clip a Kick VOD free

Paste a public Twitch, Kick or YouTube link. We email you two captioned vertical clips, usually within 15 minutes. No sign-up, no card.

Demo clips carry a small Crowdcut mark. Plans from $29/month.

Questions

Can it clip a Kick stream live?

Live clipping is in beta on Twitch today. On Kick it needs the stream recorded on our side, so it is available on request. Kick VOD links work now.

What about IRL streams?

They work the same way. Chat speed and loudness pick the moments; the Blur Spoken and Neon styles suit IRL footage.

Is there a free Kick clip maker?

Yes. Paste a public Kick VOD on this page or on the free Kick clip maker and get two vertical clips by email, with no sign-up. Demo clips carry a small Crowdcut mark.

Do Kick clip links work?

The free demo needs the full VOD, because it finds the moments itself; a link to a single Kick clip is turned away. Paste the VOD from the channel's Videos tab instead.

How many clips do I get?

Clipper includes 40 clips a month, Creator 100, Starter 250 (plus three watched channels) and Growth 750. Agency plans for larger rosters are set up with us. Re-renders of the same clip are free.
