Crowdcut / For streamers

Your community already picked your best moments.

Connect your channel. Crowdcut watches the stream with your viewers: what they clip and when chat spikes becomes vertical clips with captions and your facecam on top, ready to approve before you go offline.

Example from a demo stream: facecam on top, word-by-word captions, a hook with the backstory.

In short

Crowdcut clips your streams for you: it reads your chat for the moments viewers reacted to, cuts each one to a vertical clip with your facecam on top, captions it word by word and drafts a hook. On Twitch it can do this while you're still live (beta). You approve every clip before it posts.

How it works

  1. Connect your channel

Twitch, Kick or YouTube. Nothing changes about how you stream.

  2. Your viewers find the moments

Clip bursts, chat spikes and comment timestamps point Crowdcut at what landed.

  3. Approve and post

Clips arrive cut, captioned and hooked. Approve them, schedule them, or send them to your TikTok drafts.

What your viewers already tell you

Your chat is a live highlight detector. When something lands, messages speed up past their usual pace and the words change: laughing (LUL, KEKW, 💀), hype (POG, W, LET'S GO), shock (WTF, NO WAY) and people typing "clip it". Crowdcut reads that from the chat replay of a Twitch or YouTube VOD and ranks the moments by how people reacted, not by how loud the audio was. A small chat laughing counts the same as a big chat laughing, because it measures the reaction against your own channel's pace.

On a channel you watch in a project, the clips your viewers make on Twitch and the timestamps people leave under YouTube videos point to moments too.

While you're live, or after

Live (beta, Twitch): add your channel to a project and leave it on. While you stream, Crowdcut follows your chat and cuts each spike from Twitch's own copy of the broadcast, so clips reach your review queue a minute or two later, usually before you go offline. It cuts up to 4 clips an hour per channel. Past broadcasts must be switched on in your Twitch settings (they're on by default for Affiliates and Partners). Kick live clipping needs a recording on our side and is available on request; YouTube live isn't in the beta.

After: paste the VOD link. Long streams are worked through in 30-minute sections, so the first clips reach review while the rest is still being processed.

What a clip looks like when it arrives

Each clip opens on the setup, not halfway through the reaction, and runs 8 to 90 seconds (about 30 by default). The Gaming Stack style finds your camera and puts it over zoomed gameplay; if it guessed wrong, drag the boxes and it re-renders. Captions are timed to each spoken word with the current word highlighted, swearing is starred in the text and muted in the audio, and three hook drafts are written from what was actually said.

Your approval is the last step

Nothing posts by itself. You read the hook, pick a draft or write your own, and approve. Approved clips go to your connected TikTok account's drafts, now or on a schedule, or download as an export pack with the caption and tags for Shorts and Reels. On Growth, three team seats let a mod or editor do the first pass and you do the final approval.

Plans with watched live channels start with Creator at $79/month (one channel, 100 clips a month).

Questions

Do I have to change how I stream?

No. Add your channel once and Crowdcut works from what your stream and your viewers already produce.

Can my editor or mods approve clips?

Yes. Growth includes three team seats with roles, so an editor can cut and post and a reviewer can approve.

Does it know my community's running jokes?

Add your subreddit and channels as community sources in the brief. Crowdcut reads the past week of posts, top clips and uploads, and uses them when it ranks moments and drafts hooks.

Will anything post without me?

No. Clips wait for your approval, then go out on your schedule or to your TikTok drafts.
