Free Twitch clip maker
Paste a Twitch VOD or clip link below and Crowdcut emails you two vertical clips, free: the moments your chat reacted to, cut to 9:16 with your facecam on top and word-by-word captions. It reads the chat replay to find them. No sign-up; the demo clips the liveliest 30 minutes of a long stream.

What the free clips include
- Two clips, each 8 to 90 seconds (about 30), cut from the moments chat reacted to.
- Vertical 1080×1920 with captions timed to each word and a hook card.
- A small "made with crowdcut.studio" mark. Clips on a plan don't have it.
- Usually ready within 15 minutes; we email you the link, which works for 14 days.
How it finds the moments in a Twitch VOD
Twitch keeps the chat replay with the VOD. Crowdcut reads it and marks windows where messages came faster than the channel's own recent pace, then sorts them by what people typed: laughing, hype, shock or "clip it". The audio and transcript confirm there's a payoff. That's why the clips start a few seconds before the reaction rather than in the middle of it.
When a stream is long
The free demo takes streams up to 12 hours and clips the liveliest 30 minutes, picked from the chat replay. On a plan, the whole stream is clipped, in 30-minute sections, up to 20 clips per video, and your Twitch channel can be watched while you're live (beta, on Creator and up).
Before you paste
The VOD must be public. Past broadcasts expire after about a week on most channels (14 days for Affiliates, 60 for Partners), so clip soon or save it as a highlight. Clip your own stream, or one you have the rights to.
Questions
Is the Twitch clip maker free?
Yes. Two clips from any public Twitch VOD, no sign-up and no card. Plans start at $29/month for more clips without the mark.
Does it work on Twitch clips and highlights?
The free tool takes a past broadcast or a highlight, because it finds the moments itself from the chat replay. On a plan you can also paste a single clip link.
Can it clip while I'm live?
Yes, on a plan with watched channels (Creator and up): add your Twitch channel to a project and clips arrive while you stream. It's a beta.
Try it on your own stream
