What you get
- Two vertical clips, 8 to 90 seconds each, with captions timed to each word.
- Swearing starred in the text and muted in the audio, so the clips stay postable.
- A small Crowdcut mark on the free clips; none on a plan.
- An email with the link, usually within 15 minutes.
How it picks moments on Kick
On a Kick VOD Crowdcut doesn't read chat; it listens: sudden loud reactions, laughter and lines like "no way" are found in the audio and the transcript, and each candidate is ranked for a clear setup and payoff. Every clip opens a few seconds before the moment.
Long Kick streams
The free demo takes VODs up to 12 hours and clips the liveliest 30 minutes. On a plan the whole VOD is processed in 30-minute sections, and you choose how many clips (up to 20 per video) and how long.
Live Kick clipping
Live clipping follows chat while you stream. On Twitch it's a beta anyone on Creator and up can switch on. On Kick it needs the stream recorded on our side, so we turn it on per channel on request.
