Crowdcut / StreamLadder alternative
A StreamLadder alternative built around your chat
StreamLadder's free tools start from a clip you already have. Crowdcut starts from the whole stream: it reads the chat to find the moments, cuts them for you and waits for your approval.
In short
Crowdcut is a StreamLadder alternative for Twitch, Kick and YouTube streams. Paste a stream and it reads the chat replay on Twitch and YouTube VODs to find the moments, cuts each one to 9:16 with word-by-word captions and a hook, and waits for your approval. Per StreamLadder's own pages as of November 3, 2026, its ClipGPT ranks moments in a Twitch or Kick VOD by a virality score and is unlimited on its Creator plan; plan prices are not listed on those pages.

How it works
Paste the stream
A Twitch past broadcast, a Kick VOD or a YouTube video or past stream. Several links at once are clipped as a series on a plan.
Chat finds the moments
On Twitch and YouTube the chat replay marks where viewers reacted; on Kick, the audio and transcript. Each clip opens on the setup.
Approve and post
Clips arrive 9:16 with word-by-word captions and three hook drafts. Approve, then send to TikTok drafts or download for Shorts and Reels.
What you get
- Moments found in the whole stream from how chat reacted, not from clips you cut first
- Published prices per finished clip: $29/month for 40, $79/month for 100
- Twitch live clipping (beta) on Creator and up, so clips arrive while the stream is still on
- A timeline editor for trims, speed, zooms, stickers, text and music; re-renders are free
- Two free clips from a public Twitch, Kick or YouTube link, emailed to you with no sign-up
- A review step: nothing posts until you approve it

Whole streams, ranked by the chat
StreamLadder's free tools start from a clip that already exists: its Clip Downloader takes a YouTube, Twitch or Kick clip link. Crowdcut starts from the full broadcast. On Twitch and YouTube VODs it reads the chat replay and marks the windows where messages came faster than the channel's own recent pace, sorted by what people typed: laughing, hype, shock or "clip it". Loudness and the transcript then check there's a payoff, and each clip opens a few seconds before the reaction. Long streams are worked through in 30-minute sections, so the first clips reach review while the rest is still being cut.
StreamLadder's ClipGPT page says it analyses a Twitch or Kick VOD and ranks the moments by a virality score (as of November 3, 2026). How that score is worked out is not listed on that page. The fair test is the same VOD through both.
Free options and watermarks
StreamLadder's Clip Downloader and Emote Maker are free, and its 7-day trial unlocks every feature, per its own article (as of November 3, 2026). Whether free or trial exports carry a watermark is not listed on that article, its ClipGPT page or its Content Publisher page (as of November 3, 2026).
The free demo's 2 clips carry a small "made with crowdcut.studio" mark. The 3-day free trial (card required, $0 today) puts no mark on the video; each trial clip ends with a short Crowdcut end card. Clips on a paid plan have no mark and no end card, unless you turn on "Watermark my clips".
When StreamLadder is the better fit
If you already have the clips and want an editor to frame and caption them, StreamLadder is built for that, with a free Clip Downloader for clip links. If you want clips posted for you on a schedule, its Content Publisher does that for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, and Pro adds X and 4K exports, per its own pages.
When Crowdcut is the better fit
If you want the moments found for you in a four-hour stream, ranked by how your chat reacted, Crowdcut is built around that. Prices are published per finished clip, so a long stream costs the clips it gives you. You can try it on your own VOD before paying anything: two clips by email, no account. Every clip waits for a person to approve it before it goes to your TikTok drafts, which matters on clipping campaigns where a bad post earns nothing.
Try it on a stream
Paste a public Twitch, Kick or YouTube link. We email you two captioned vertical clips, usually within 15 minutes. No sign-up, no card.
